Dear applicants!
Комітет з оцінки ризиків у фармаконагляді (PRAC) на підставі оцінки аналізу Регулярно оновлюваних звітів з безпеки (РОЗБ) для лікарських засобів, що містять Morphine, Morphine/cyclizine, за даними післяреєстраційного спостереження та літератури рекомендовав власникам реєстраційних посвідчень ЛЗ, що містять Morphine внести зміні до інструкції для медичного застосування, додавши інформацію з безпеки щодо:
- acute chest syndrome in patients with sickle cell anemia;
- adrenal insufficiency, hypogonadism after long-term use of medicinal products containing Morphine;
- potentially dangerous interaction with benzodiazepine;
- interactions with rifampicin, which may lead to a reduced analgesic effect;
- hyperalgesia observed with high doses of a medicinal product containing Morphine;
- confirmation of the inclusion of anaphylactoid reactions, feelings of fear and dysphoria (as withdrawal symptoms); hyperhidrosis, dry mouth, drug dependence, withdrawal syndrome, as well as allodynia and hyperalgesia;
- reduced fertility and risk of chromosomal damage based on nonclinical studies;
- risks of death and aspiration pneumonia;
- physicochemical incompatibility (formation of precipitates) between solutions of morphine sulfate and 5-fluorouracil.
- newborns whose mothers received opioid analgesics during pregnancy.
