On 15 January, the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine hosted the signing of a Memorandum of Interaction and Cooperation with the country’s leading research institution – the O.M. Marzieiev Institute for Public Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
Its aim is to unite efforts for the development of public health and the sphere of circulation of medicinal products, medical devices, food products, cosmetics and other medical products.
The memorandum defines clear areas of cooperation. These include: scientific, educational and expert activities in the specified fields; mutual exchange of scientific information and databases; creation of appropriate conditions for conducting scientific research on current problems of medical science.
They also agreed to cooperate on improving laboratory testing; developing new research methods, innovative technologies and solutions; implementing joint educational programs to train highly qualified personnel adapted to modern labor market requirements; and other matters.
On behalf of the Center, the Memorandum was signed by Director Mykhailo BABENKO, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences; on behalf of the Institute, by Ihor Shkrobanets, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.
“The Memorandum signed today underscores the interest of both parties in the development of public health and the sphere of circulation of medicinal products. We are actively continuing work on improving the quality of medicinal products, medical devices, medical products and the training of professional staff,” said the Director of the Center Mykhailo Babenko after the signing.
