The State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine invites members of ethics commissions to a free online meeting. The event will be conducted by specialists of the Department of Expert Evaluation of Preclinical and Clinical Trial Materials with the participation of the Audit Office.
Topic of the meeting: "Providing knowledge on ethical review of preventing possible risk to research subjects and monitoring compliance with ethical and moral-legal principles during clinical trials"
During the webinar, the following relevant topics will be considered:
- The importance of ethical issues in conducting clinical trials: present and prospects
- Declaration of Helsinki 2024. Strengthening ethical standards in clinical research involving humans.
- General annual report on the work of the ethics commission. Recommendations for preparation.
- Conflicts of interest. Introduction of policies and procedures for identifying, mitigating and resolving such conflicts in research.
- Main observations regarding the activities of ethics commissions identified during clinical audit.
- Answers to questions
