11.11.2022 2181 review

Despite the war, the number of approved sectoral standards of medical care in 2022 increased by 50% compared with the previous year.

As the leading organization in developing medical technological documents on standardization of medical care, the Center is doing everything within its power to make the treatment and rehabilitation options for patients in Ukraine better and in line with European practices.

Specialists of the Medical Care Standardization Department are members of multidisciplinary working groups and continuously work on updates to sectoral standards and clinical guidelines.

Thus, on the Center's submission, as of 10 November 2022 the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has already approved by its orders 30 medical technological documents on medical care (in 2021 – 20). Among the latest are, in particular, the following:

  • “Ectopic pregnancy” (MoH order of 24.09.2022 No. 1730);
  • “Obesity in children” (MoH order of 24.09.2022 No. 1732);
  • “Secondary Stroke Prevention” (MoH of Ukraine order of 02.11.2022 No. 1967);
  • “Intussusception in children” (MoH order of 05.11.2022 No. 1988).

We also draw your attention to the fact that the edition of the clinical guideline “Tuberculosis” has been updated.
