The new year 2025 has begun actively at the State Expert Center. In the first two weeks of January alone, four meetings of the Scientific Expert Council and the Scientific and Technical Council were held, at which 530 recommendations on medicinal products and clinical trials were provided to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. This became possible thanks to the clear and coordinated work of the experts and members of the Scientific Expert Council and the Scientific and Technical Council under the leadership of Director Mykhailo Babenko.
In particular, since the beginning of 2025, the Center has already recommended for registration 10 medicinal products (MPs) and 6 substances; for re-registration – 20 MPs and 7 substances, 437 changes to registration dossiers for MPs, and 26 amendments to clinical trial protocols for MPs. Also, for the first time, recommendations were provided under the procedure for certification of the plasma master file for medicinal products manufactured from human blood or plasma.
“The recommendations that we provide every week at the meetings of the Scientific Expert Council and the Scientific and Technical Council are the result of a detailed study of registration materials and a guarantee that Ukrainians will receive the medicines they need on time,” emphasizes Mykhailo Babenko.
