Ukraine has approved unified clinical protocols for the provision of emergency, primary and specialized medical care "Pulmonary hypertension in adults", "Pulmonary hypertension in children" (order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 813 dated 16.06.2026).
The documents were developed by a multidisciplinary team composed of the best specialists in Ukraine in the fields of cardiology, pulmonology, cardiac surgery, transplantation, therapy and others, taking into account modern principles of evidence-based medicine. Methodological guidance and information support were provided by specialists of the Department of Standards in the Field of Healthcare of the Center.

The protocols provide clinicians with clear algorithms for diagnosis, drug and non-drug treatment, management of complications, indications for surgical and interventional intervention, and transplantation depending on the complexity of the disease and differential patient groups.
At the same time, for practical use by physicians, the evidence-based clinical guideline "Pulmonary Hypertension" is recommended. It is intended to assist in making clinical decisions and to ensure uniform approaches to the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients.
