The first professional development seminar for medical and pharmaceutical workers in the area of standardization of medical care took place at the Center.
The topic was devoted to the methodology of developing medical technological documents (MTD) in Ukraine on the basis of evidence-based medicine. This knowledge is important in the context of shaping clinical pathways of patients in a healthcare facility and improving the quality of medical care.
The training was conducted by the Agency for Methodological and Scientific-Practical Work of the Center, chaired by Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor, Honored Healthcare Worker of Ukraine Oleksandr Hudzenko.
The seminar was delivered by specialists of the Medical Care Standardization Department of the Center, permanent members of multidisciplinary working groups on the development of medical technological documents at the MoH of Ukraine – Head of the Department, Honored Healthcare Worker of Ukraine Oksana Hulenko and Deputy Head of the Department, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences Olena Shylkina.
The speakers familiarized attendees with the regulatory framework and methodology for developing sectoral standards, which are a key foundation for ensuring high-quality and accessible medical services for the population. They covered in detail the sources of evidence-based medicine used in developing MTD and the tools for measuring the quality of medical care.
Emphasized:
- the importance of adhering to sectoral standards of medical care, standards of rehabilitation care, clinical protocols, rehabilitation care protocols, and material and technical equipment lists, which are mandatory for all healthcare facilities;
