Representatives of the Review Mission of European Regulatory Agencies – Poland and Croatia – visited the Center. The visit took place within the Review Mission of European Medicines Agencies, held in Kyiv on 19 and 20 February 2025, organized by the MoH and led by Deputy Minister for European Integration Maryna Slobodnichenko.

The Center was visited by Grzegorz Cessak, President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products (URPL) of Poland, and Siniša Tomić, Head of the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of Croatia (HALMED), together with members of their teams.

Mykhailo Babenko gave the guests a tour of the Center and introduced them to the work of its main departments.

The meeting took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation.

"Today we have tremendous support from our European colleagues. As a result of cooperation and exchange of experience, Ukraine is implementing eCTD faster than other European countries and is confidently moving toward harmonization of pharmaceutical legislation with EU legislation. I thank our colleagues for their support and hope that our cooperation will continue to be close and successful," emphasized Mykhailo Babenko at the end of the meeting at the Center.

As a reminder, on 20 February a meeting of the heads of leading European regulatory agencies was held at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, devoted to the reform of Ukraine’s pharmaceutical sector in the context of European integration. The international delegation included representatives of the regulatory agencies of Sweden, Croatia, Poland, Denmark and Lithuania. Ukraine was represented at the meeting by representatives of the Ministry of Health, the State Expert Center, and the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control.
