the Sixth scientific and practical conference with international participation entitled “Clinical trials of medicinal products in Ukraine: new challenges and responses to them”

Dear Colleagues,

The work on preparation to the Sixth scientific and practical conference with international participation entitled “Clinical trials of medicinal products in Ukraine: new challenges and responses to them”, which is included in the “Register of meetings, congresses, symposia and scientific and practical conferences to be held in 2020” is near completion.

We remind you that to participate in the conference you shall send the registration form of the conference participant. We also invite you to send abstracts.

The conference shall be held in Kyiv, Ukraine, on October 08-09, 2020 at the “Mercure Congress Centre” (6, Vadym Hetman St., Kyiv).

The conference program envisages plenary and section sessions, round-table meetings, master classes and GCP workshop both in the format of direct presence at the conference venue and remotely – in videoconference mode.

The online workshop on “Good clinical practice (GCP): Legal regulation of clinical trials” is also to be conducted within the conference. 

Key topics of the conference program:

• Regulatory framework for conducting clinical trials: current changes in Ukraine and other countries
• Organization and conduct of clinical trials of medicinal products in terms of overcoming the consequences of an emergency epidemic situation – COVID-19 pandemic
• Improving expert evaluation of materials pertinent to clinical trials of medicinal products
• Collection and analysis of adverse reactions during clinical trials of medicinal product
• Quality control of clinical trials of medicinal products in quarantine
• Contentious issues of organization and conduct of clinical trials in the development of different types of medicinal products
• Current methods and designs of clinical trials
• Use of e-resources in clinical trials of medicinal products
• Peculiarities of organization and conduct of non-interventional studies and their role in healthcare system of Ukraine
• Use of study results of medicinal products for HTA

To participate in the Sixth scientific and practical conference with international participation please complete the Conference Participant Registration Form or Conference and GCP Workshop Participant Registration Form or Speaker’s Registration Form using the following link.  The registration forms shall be sent no later than October 01, 2020.

Please note that due to anti-epidemic measures (according to the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine as of 01.07.2020 №38) the number of participants directly at the Conference venue is limited.

Applications for presentation according to the conference topics should be sent to the Organizing Committee to kovtun@dec.gov.ua or rasputnyak@dec.gov.ua till September 20, 2020.

Page setup: А4 paper size, portrait orientation, all margins – 2.5 cm. MS WORD Editor, font – Times New Roman, regular, 12 pt., one single space page with no tables, diagrams, and references. Authors’ names and initials, and abstract title in bold font, institution and city – regular style, for example:
